| Duties | 1. identify organisational structures, systems and processes to facilitate gender mainstreaming within DACAAR
2. recognize barriers to gender mainstreaming-personal and organizational; and identify ways to address them
3. assist participants to develop a long term capacity building schedule and follow-up plan on gender mainstreaming requirements for DACAAR
4. assist participants identify creative spaces and forms for initiating dialogue on gender as an ongoing institutional learning process

| Qualification |
Educational: We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma. A specialisation in Gender Studies, Human rights, International Studies or other related field preferred.
Professional: Have over 10 years work experience in the area of Gender analysis and training. She/he should:
• be able to lead a dynamic and creative training schedule with the senior management at DACAAR.
• be comfortable and willing to use innovative & multiple teaching learning methodologies such a audio- visuals, role plays, interactive games, lecture to facilitate module vibrancy
• be flexible, effective and able to work with multicultural team
• demonstrate sensitivity and awareness to the afghan environment, preferably have experience of at least 2 years of working in the country
• have good command of spoken & written English. Spoken grasp of Dari/Pashtu is desirable
